Help right now
If things feel unbearable right now, if you are having thoughts of harming yourself, or if you are in danger — please do not stay with this alone, and do not wait for a therapist match. Ordinary psychotherapy is not a substitute for emergency care.
Free crisis lines
- 112 — the single emergency number in Ukraine and across Europe. Available 24/7, the call is free. This is the most reliable option when there is an immediate threat to life.
- IOM emotional support line — 0 800 211 444 — from Ukraine, free of charge
- 103 — emergency medical services in Ukraine
As of our last check, the Lifeline Ukraine line (7333) has suspended operations due to a lack of funding — the short number and the chats are temporarily not accepting requests. That is why we do not list it here as active.
If you are abroad
Most countries have their own 24/7 crisis lines — search for «crisis line» or «suicide hotline» plus the name of the country. If you are in immediate danger, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department (Pronto Soccorso in Italy, Notaufnahme in Germany, SOR in Poland).

This state is not forever, and asking for help is normal. Once the acute moment passes, we will help you find a specialist for ongoing support.
